BAMA holds Tex Styl show in Bengaluru

The Bangalore Apparel Manufacturers Association (BAMA) is currently holding the Tex Styl Show at Bengaluru’s Fairfield by Marriott. The forum, running from March 5 to 6, is a business to business networking event for the textile industry.
The ongoing Tex Styl textile forum has over 65 participating textile and accessory businesses from cities including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, and Bengaluru. Organised by the president of BAMA, Praveen Mutha, and his team, the event is also supported by 55 branded manufacturers from Bengaluru.
The forum and event focus on textile sourcing and feature businesses that work in apparel manufacturing as well as brand owners, corporate buyers, exporters, buying houses, FOB manufacturing businesses, media, institutes, and representatives of related organisations. Fabrics for the upcoming season are being presented and trends for next season are also being discussed.
BAMA is an organisation made up of organised clothing manufacturers in Bengaluru. The group represents a GMV of Rs 2,000 crore ($300.6 million) and the direct and indirect employment of over 15,000 people.
The organisation plans to affiliate with other trade bodies as well as government entities and large retail corporates. BAMA has future events planned for the textile industry including an upcoming Sourcing Fair and Fashion Trade Fair.
