Balenzia to expand physical presence with franchise model

Direct-to-consumer brand Balenzia plans to expand its physical presence to fuel its growth by opening franchisee outlets across the country in the coming months.

The brand recently opened its franchisee outlet for Rajasthan at Nexus Celebration Mall, Udaipur. This comes after the opening of its first franchisee in Mumbai earlier this year.

The new stores will house extensive product lines that includes athletic socks, casual socks, formal socks, and licensed merchandise from Marvel, Disney, Warner Bros, and Cartoon Network.

Commenting on the expansion, Shruti Gupta, head of strategy for Balenzia in a statement said, “We are thrilled to continue our expansion with the launch of our second franchisee this year and the first one for Udaipur, as it strengthens the brand’s foothold in Rajasthan. Our aim is to make the brand available to be experienced at even more locations, making it easier for customers to shop for the latest and greatest in socks and licensed merchandise."

“Our franchisees will play an important role in our growth strategy, and we are committed to providing them with the support they need to succeed. With the growing demand for fashion statement socks in India, we are well-positioned to continue our growth and success in the coming years,” she added.

Balenzia currently has stores in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kanpur, and Ludhiana. It also sells through its website and e-commerce portals like Amazon, Myntra, Ajio, Flipkart, Paytm, Snapdeal, Limeroad, Nykaa, and LBB.
