Balenzia expands presence with its first franchisee store in Mumbai

Balenzia, a leading Indian brand of premium socks has strengthened its retail presence with the opening of its first franchisee at Infinity Mall, Malad, Mumbai.

With this store opening, the brand has entered the franchisee market and plans to further expand its presence across the country in the coming months.

The company plans to use franchising as a model to scale up its physical store presence while continuing to operate its own outlets.

Commenting on the expansion, Shruti Gupta, head of strategy for Balenzia in a statement said, “We are thrilled to announce the opening of our first franchisee in Mumbai. The response we've received to the brand has been extremely positive, and we are excited to expand our physical store presence through franchising. Mumbai is extremely important to us, and we have received a lot of love and support from our customers here.”

“This is our fifth store in Mumbai, and we are excited to offer our customers another avenue to experience the best of our high-quality, stylish, and comfortable socks,” she added.

Balenzia currently has stores in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kanpur, and Ludhiana. It also sells through its website and e-commerce portals like Amazon, Myntra, Ajio, Flipkart, Paytm, Snapdeal, Limeroad, Nykaa, and LBB.
