Bajaj Consumer Q4 net profit jumps to Rs 55 crore

FMCG firm Bajaj Consumer Care Ltd witnessed a steep rise in its consolidated net profit at Rs 55 crore ($7.4 million) for the fourth quarter ended March 31, as against Rs 23 crore it reported in the corresponding period last year.
 

The company’s sales revenue grew to Rs 245 crore for the quarter, as against Rs 172 crore in the year-ago period.
 
Bajaj Consumer Care’s total expenses for the quarter rose by 19 percent to Rs 189 crore, as against Rs 159 crore it reported last year.

For the financial year 2020-21, Bajaj Consumer witnessed 21 percent rise in net profit at Rs 223 crore, as against Rs 184 crore a year ago, while its revenue for the fiscal year grew by 10 percent to Rs 905 crore.
