Bajaj Consumer Care Q4 net profit jumps 13 percent to Rs 40 crore

FMCG firm Bajaj Consumer Care Ltd witnessed a 13 percent rise in its consolidated net profit at Rs 40 crore ($5 million) for the fourth quarter ended March 2023, as against Rs 36 crore in the year-ago period.

The company’s revenue for the quarter rose by 15 percent to Rs 246 crore, as against Rs 215 crore posted in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.

Bajaj Consumer’s total expenses during the quarter rose by 14 percent to Rs 210 crore, as against Rs 185 crore in the year-ago period.

For the full financial year ended March 2023, the company’s net profit stood at Rs 139 while its revenue was Rs 949 crore.

“Premiumisation of the Almonds Drops Hair Oil business remains a key pillar of growth for the company. The company plans to extend the Almond Drops portfolio beyond hair oil through launch of products in hair care and skin care categories. The scaling up of coconut portfolio is also going as planned,” Bajaj Consumer said in its investor's presentation.

Bajaj Consumer Care, a part of the Bajaj Group is one of the leading players in the hair oil and beauty care categories in India.
