Bajaj Consumer Care appoints Jaideep Nandi as CEO

Bajaj Consumer Care Limited has named Jaideep Nandi as its new chief executive officer (CEO), effective January next year. Nandi was earlier associated with Asian Paints PPG, as its chief executive officer, from 2014 till October 2019.
 

Jaideep Nandi will also act as one of the key managerial personnel of the company and be responsible for strengthening the brand’s presence with profitable growth across India.
 
Bajaj Consumer had reported revenue of Rs 881 crore ($123.8 million) with a net profit of Rs 226 crore for the financial year 2018-19.

“The board of directors of Bajaj Consumer Care Limited at its meeting held on December 20, 2019, after considering recommendation of nomination, remuneration & corporate governance committee, has approved the appointment of Jaideep Nandi as the chief executive officer of the company effective January 2, 2020,” the company said it a statement.
 
Jaideep Nandi graduated with a degree in engineering and holds post-graduation in management, marketing, and finance from IIM, Bangalore.
