BVC Logistics specialises in jewellery export consignments - BVC Logistics

BVC Logistics sent out its jewellery export shipment just hours after the India-Australia  ECTA came into force on December 29, the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council announced on its website. This is the second time BVC Logistics was the first to take advantage of an international trade deal. The business was also the first to ship a consignment under the India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement earlier in 2022.

“BVC is proud to facilitate yet another milestone for our industry by enabling the first exports from both BDB (Venus) and SEEPZ (Jewelex) to Australia under ECTA, which is India’s second trade agreement in 2022 in which we enabled the first exports,” said BVC Group’s CEO Bhavik Chinai, the GJEPC reported. “Team BVC is committed to enable logistics solutions to enhance the jewellery industry’s contribution toward the export goal of the country.”

Venus Jewel, launched in 1969, specialises in diamond jewellery and sent its export consignment from the Bharat Diamond Bourse in Mumbai. Jewelex sent its shipment from the Santacruz Electronics Export Processing Zone in Mumbai. The business specialises in traditional style gold jewellery.
