Avon names Shraddha Bachani as its India makeup expert

Global beauty brand, Avon, has appointed celebrity makeup expert Shraddha Bachani as its makeup expert for the Indian market to enhance customer experience and boost sales in the country.
 

With the move, Avon is trying to make deeper inroads into the booming cosmetics market in India and is hoping that Shraddha’s experience in the field coupled with her celebrity connect will help the company increase its market share in the country.
 
The Indian cosmetics industry is currently estimated to be around $6.5 billion and is expected to grow to $20 billion by 2025, according to a RedSeer report.

Avon, which entered the Indian market in 2012, is looking to rejuvenate the brand to grow its business in this lucrative market.
 
Commenting on her appointment, Bachani in a statement said, “ I am looking forward to sharing and learning evolving makeup trends and encouraging these women to stand up strong as financially independent women.”

Bachani is the country’s leading makeup expert and services a host of Bollywood actors like Madhuri Dixit, Esha Gupta, Karishma Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Pooja Hegde, Lisa Haydon, Sushant Singh Rajput, and others.
