Avenue Supermarts' D-Mart sees revenue rise by 24.7% in FY23 Q3

D-Mart’s operator Avenue Supermarts reported a 24.7% increase in its standalone revenue from operations in the third quarter of the 2023 financial year. The fast moving consumer goods retailer’s revenue totalled Rs 11,304.58 crore in the quarter which ended on December 31, 2022.

Avenue Supermarts’ revenue from operations had totalled Rs 9,065.02 crore in the third quarter of the 2022 financial year, ET Bureau reported. The business reported its performance for the recent financial quarter in a regulatory filing on January 3. 
 
“Standalone revenue from operations for the quarter ended December 31, 2022 stood at Rs 11,304.58 crore,” Avenue Supermarts said in a statement on its performance for the quarter, the Press Trust of India reported.

As of December 31, 2022, D-Mart has a total of 306 brick-and-mortar stores across India. The business retails a wide range of personal care, cosmetics, accessories, lifestyle, and home goods and its multi-brand product selection focuses on the value segment of the market. 
 
The business currently operates in markets including Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Daman, Delhi NCR, Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana. Promoted by Radhakishan Damani and his family, the business is headquartered in Mumbai.
