Avenue Supermarkets' DMart opens 94,000-square-foot store in Faridabad

Multi-brand retailer DMart has opened its first store in Haryana and second store in the national capital region. The business’ new 94,000-square-foot retail outlet opened at BPTP Parklands in Faridabad.

DMart’s new store was constructed on a 1.57 acre plot of land located in Faridabad’s Sector 75, ET Bureau reported. The three-storey retail outlet is designed to be a one-stop supermarket for the area and adds to DMart’s growing presence in the NCR. 
 
“A modern one-stop supermarket offering good products at great value was needed in the newly-developed Faridabad Neharpar and this DMart store will surely meet the requirement of the residents who were waiting for the latest amenities," said Amit Raj Jain, head of sales at BPTP Limited which sold the land to DMart, ET Bureau reported. 

BPTP Parklands is a township built across 12 sectors which has created a new city and community in Greater Faridabad. This new residential areas has created an array of retail opportunities for businesses looking to tap into the newly emerging customer base.
 
DMart already has a NCR brick-and-mortar store in Ghaziabad. The business’ stores house a wide selection of fast moving consumer goods including beauty products, personal care items, clothing, home linens, and bath products among many other categories. The majority of in-store products are in the value segment of the market.
