Aura hosts meet and greet with Suket Dhir and multi-brand showcase

On April 15, the multi-brand luxury fashion boutique Aura hosted a meet and greet with designer Suket Dhir along with a showcase featuring Jayanti Reddy, Felix Bendish, and Toramally. The event at its Raipur boutique launched the designers’ latest collections in-store and promoted the brands.

Aura, the multi-brand boutique with retail outlets in Raipur and Nagpur, hosted Suket Dhir on Monday for a meet-and-greet and collection launch event. Dhir visited the brand’s Raipur boutique to discuss his latest collection “Play” and meet fans. The collection comes straight from the runway at the recent Lotus India Fashion Week. 

As a winner of the International Woolmark Prize, Dhir’s brand is growing steadily and his recent collection mixes traditional Jamdani Indian textiles and nature-inspired prints. Dhir’s “He for She” women’s version of a menswear collection features sharp tailoring and androgynous elements and also features more feminine fabrics like satin.

Along with Dhir’s meet and greet, Tormally launched its latest collection of leather brogues and slip-ons. Shoes in brown leather are adorned with gold Japanese-style images of birds and blossoms to mix classic western wear with eastern aesthetics. 

The jewellery and accessories brand Felix Bendish also launched its collection which features swans and pearls on belt buckles and statement necklaces. Jayanti Reddy also launched her collection in-store. 

Aura stocks a range of Indian designers including Manish Malhotra, Not So Serious, Amit Agarwal, Anita Dongre, and Suneet Verma. The boutique chain also aims to promote young labels with events such as Monday’s.
