Augmont expands 'Sell Old Gold' services to Hyderabad

Augmont Gold For All launched its Sell Old Gold service in Hyderabad on Wednesday with a dedicated outlet in the city. The store is its second ‘Sell Old Gold’ touchpoint for the gold retail business in India. 

“After the successful branch launch at Mumbai, Zaveri Bazar in September 2022, Augmont Gold For All is super excited to announce the inauguration of its Sell Old Gold branch launch in Hyderabad, India today,” the business announced on Facebook on October 12. 
 
The business’ Sell Old Gold service is designed to give customers an automated, digital, and transparent mechanism for selling their gold. This system helps customers obtain the best financial value for their gold jewellery and artefacts, purity, weight and the current market rate, according to Augmont. The service uses touchstone technology, XRF scientific gold purity testing, and an advanced melting machine to value and process the gold. 

Augmont aims to transform the gold selling industry in India. It is common practice for shoppers to sell gold jewellery, either to opt for a different design or piece of jewellery or to release equity. As most shoppers sell the gold back to the, often unorganised, jewellery store from which they originally bought it, they can loose out on significant funds. Augmont aims to change that with its Sell Old Gold service.
