“The upcoming collection is the result of immense research, as we had to ensure that we presented an eclectic offering of heirloom vintage jewellery pieces that are hard to acquire and at the same showcase great craftsmanship and practices from Europe and the Indian subcontinent,” said AstaGuru’s jewellery specialist, Jay Sagar, the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council reported on its website.

“The auction features an array of some of the most desired and highly coveted gemstones from across the world, and ones that would make for a worthy inclusion in any important collection.”

The auction will feature jewellery made by brands including Piaget, Tiffany & Co., Collingwood Jewellers Ltd. London, and Indian jewellery houses including Gazdar Jewellers, Narotamdas Bhau, and Manilal Chimanlal & Co. Bombay among others.

AstaGuru estimates that its featured two-row Zambian emerald bead necklace will be sold for between Rs 80 lakh ($108,173) and Rs 1 crore and one of its featured multi-row Basra pearl necklaces will fetch the highest price at between Rs 1.25 crore to Rs 1.5 crore.
