Ashdeen, House of Three to hold joint showcase at Lakmé Fashion Week’s Sustainable Fashion Day

Fashion brands Ashdeen and House of Three will showcase their summer/resort collections on the runway at a joint showcase at upcoming Lakmé Fashion Week’s Sustainable Fashion Day, on February 13.

Lakmé Fashion Week will continue its tradition of holding a Sustainable Fashion Day this season on its second day, the fashion week announced on Facebook. Two eco-friendly brands selected to take part in this edition, Ashdeen and House of Three, will showcase a mix of traditional and fusion wear in a joint showcase that will celebrate heritage craft traditions.
 
Ashdeen will showcase a collection featuring Parsi Gara embroidery made with a group of local artisans. Ashdeen, launched by Ashdeen Z Lilaowala in 2012, is known for its embroidered sarees and works with gold zari embroidery and silk threads.

For its upcoming collection, House of Three has collaborated with artisan weaver Rajib Debnath from Bengal. The brand will present a range of Jamdani designs along with Kanjivarams from Tamil Nadu.

Lakmé Fashion Week will run from February 12 to 16 at the JioWorld Garden in Mumbai. The fashion week is currently celebrating its 20th anniversary and will also feature a GenNext showcase for young talent and an open casting for models with supplement brand, Corcal, and designer, Payal Singhal.
