Arvind to double Creyate store count in 12 to 18 months

Arvind Ltd plans to double the store count for its menswear brand, Creyate, over the next 12 to 18 months and is also beginning to open “luxury” Creyate stores.
With a current store count of 13, Creyate by Arvind plans to increase both its regular store count and continue to open “luxury” outlets. On March 23, Creyate opened its first luxury flagship store in Bengaluru’s UB City Mall, which is a higher end version of its regular stores. More such stores are planned to follow and the average transaction value (ATV) in these stores is expected to total around one lakh rupees compared to the ATV of around 30,000 to 32,000 rupees in the regular format Creyate stores. In this way, the brand aims to increase its revenue by increasing its in store ATVs.
Although Creyate’s new round of store openings will be mostly for the regular formal stores, more luxury stores are also planned. The brand is also foraying into casualwear with the launch of a range of flannel shirts in 100 percent cotton.
The brand, which spicialises in custom made men’s traditional and western formal wear, was launched in 2015 as a subsidiary of Arvind Ltd and under its e-commerce arm Arvind Internet. Along with its flagship stores across India, the brand also retails from its own e-commerce website.
