Arvind Limited joins Fashion for Good for sustainable manufacturing

The apparel manufacturer Arvind Limited has joined forces with the sustainable fashion platform Fashion for Good to support the organisation and implement its sustainable technologies. By partnering with Fashion for Good, Arvind Limited has stated its commitment to ensuring its next round of growth is more ecologically sustainable. 

"By having Arvind join Fashion for Good, all of the innovators and stakeholders are gaining in depth knowledge and support from a unique pioneer in manufacturing,” said Fashion for Good’s managing director, Katrin Ley. “We are immensely proud to see the entire fashion ecosystem come together, to implement and scale innovative solutions across the fashion value chain."

“Sustainability and Innovation are our key strategic growth pillars and we have always attempted adoption of innovation in textile manufacturing,” said Arvind Limited board of director’s member Punit Lalbhai. “We are looking forward to work with these technologies to fuel next set of growth in manufacturing for us with the aim of growing with drastically less environmental impact."  

The Fashion for Good innovation platform researches ways to make fashion production more sustainable. The organisation has three main platforms Fashion for Good: Plug and Play Accelerator, its Scaling Programme, and its Good Fashion Fund. The organisation also advocates for sustainable fashion and also runs the Fashion for Good Experience in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
