Arvind Fashions Q3 net profit rises 28% to Rs 8 crore

Arvind Fashions Ltd (AFL) witnessed a 28 percent rise in net profit to Rs 8 crore ($1 million) for the third quarter ended December 2022, as against Rs 6 crore posted during the previous quarter ended December 2021.

The company’s revenue for the quarter rose by 17 percent to Rs 1,179 crore, as against Rs 1,008 crore reported in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.

Commenting on the performance of the company, Shailesh Chaturvedi, managing director CEO in a statement said, “Our Q3 results reflect further infusion of energy into our business with strong portfolio of brands, delivering healthy results with 17 percent growth in net sales value and nearly 30 percent growth in EBITDA.”

“With sharp focus on execution and customer experience, business delivered 12 percent plus retail like-to-like sales growth and record sell through. Our aim continues to be on improving profitability further and deliver a higher return on capital employed from our business.”

AFL is one of India’s leading players in the fashion segment with a portfolio of owned and licenced international brands including U.S. Polo Association, Arrow, Flying Machine, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, and beauty brand Sephora.
