With this expansion, Arvind Fashions aims to reach an exclusive store network on 300 stores during the current financial year. The store network expansion will be focused mainly on the top 12 cities across India.

The company had recently named Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan as the brand ambassador for Arrow and expects sales to pick up during the upcoming festive season.

“We expect to have a network of 300 exclusive stores by this financial year-end for brand Arrow. We have opened 25 stores since February and are looking to add another 20 stores in the coming months. We hope to tap into the large growth opportunity in big metro cities through this expansion and will also leverage on these stores to strengthen the brand's omni-channel play,” Shailesh Chaturvedi, managing director and CEO at Arvind Fashions, told Businessline.

“With Unlock 4.0, more shops and markets have opened and there has been a steady improvement in business. As we move towards the Puja and Diwali festival period, we are hopeful of inching closer to the last year’s numbers,” he added.

AFL has a strong portfolio of fashion brands both international and indigenous, which includes U.S. Polo Assn., Arrow, GAP, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, and Sephora. It currently has a network of 1,290 stores across India.
