Arvind Fashions appoints Pramod Gupta as chief financial officer

​Arvind Fashions Limited has appointed Pramod Gupta as the new chief financial officer (CFO) and key managerial personnel of the company with effect from April 02, 2019.

The appointment comes following the resignation of Kannan Soundararajan as CFO from April 2, 2019.
 
Pramod Gupta is a qualified chartered accountant and has over 30 years of finance and supply chain experience across diverse industries in organizations such as Hindustan Unilever Limited, DHL Express, Novartis and Microsoft and Rivigo Services Private Limited.

The company has also appointed two new directors to the board. Punit Sanjay Lalbhai has been appointed as an additional director for a period of one year, while Vani Kola has been appointed as an independent director for a period of five years, the company said in a statement.
 
Arvind Fashions Ltd made its market debut last month following a demerger from its parent firm Arvind Ltd. The company retails brands like Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, and Gap in India.
 
The fashion unit of Arvind had reported revenue of Rs 4,800 crore (approx $685.7 million) during the last fiscal.
