Artémis (the Pinault family) reportedly acquires a 30% share in Courrèges

According to WWD, the IPO invoked by Courrèges a few months ago appears to have been fulfilled in favour of Artémis, for up to 30% of the stock.

Sources stated to the US journal that the acquisition had already been perfected some time ago. However, neither Artémis nor Courrèges wished to comment on the news. 

Acquired four years ago by Jacques Bungert and Frédéric Torloting, former directors at the Young & Rubicam advertising agency, the French fashion label created by André Courrèges, an icon in the 1960s and 70s, made a grand come-back on the catwalks at the latest Paris Fashion Week, showcasing a Spring-Summer 2016 collection under the creative direction of Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant.
