Arrow strengthens presence in Chennai with fifth store in city
This week, Arrow will open its fifth store in Chennai in Pondy Bazaar, T Nagar. The menswear brand’s new store will measure 1,700 square feet and house its full selection of American style formal wear.
“Just in time for the festive season, we are thrilled to be launching another store in Chennai,” said Arrow’s CEO at Arvid Fashions Limited, Suman Saha, Indian Retailer reported. “There is an increasing demand for elegant, stylish menswear in the city. To match this, the new store houses a wide and varied collection to cater to all kinds of occasions. Blending innovation, functionality and comfort has always been at the core of our brand. We continue to focus on living up to the expectations of the modern-day Indian customer and are excited to offer our Autumn Winter ’22 collection at the new store.”
Arrow’s main retail presence is in metros, Tier 1, and Tier 2 cities, but the brand is now increasingly expanding into Tier 3 locations. More rural areas are increasingly witnessing demand for men’s western style professional wear as non-metro demand for branded apparel also rises.
Arrow was first established in the US in 1851 and entered the Indian market in 1993 with Arvind Fashions. The brand has around 200 exclusive brand outlets and is also available in over 1,000 multi-brand outlets in 109 Indian cities.
