Arpita Mehta and Ahikoza showcase in Jakarta, Indonesia
Designer Arpita Mehta and leather brand Ahikoza held a joint pop-up shopping event in Jakarta, Indonesia, to launch Ahikoza’s new capsule collection for the first time and promote both brands in the country.
On September 14, Arpita Mehta and Ahikoza held an Indonesian showcase and shopping event for their latest collections. The event, which was organised by Rachael Nathani, took place at the Akira Back Private Room in Jakarta and also featured beauty and skincare products from Clé de Peau Beauté.
Ahikoza, which specialises in exotic animal skin accessories and was launched by Namrata Dudaney, chose this event to launch its latest capsule collection of women’s handbags. The collection features evening bags such as The Madison clutch with a plume of feathers and crystals, The Gigi, and the Miniaudiere. Day wear bags such as The Riley and The Nia also feature with larger structures and equally bold colour ways.
Arpita Mehta brought her latest collection “Trentradition” to Jakarta for the showcase after debuting it on the runway at Lakme Fashion Week last month. The collection features a selection of bridal and festive wear with delicate floral embroidery and a pastel colour palette. The event allowed Jakarta’s shoppers to see the brands’ offerings in person for some pre-festive season shopping.
