Ardour Fashion Week holds second season in Jalandhar

The second season of Ardour Fashion Week saw fashion students of Lovely Professional University present collections on the runway along with established designers. The event also featured celebrities Rohit Khandelwal and Gayatri Bhardwaj.

The three-day Ardour Fashion Week took place from April 12 to 14 at LPU in Jalandhar and served to inspire its students and provide a platform for models and designers alike. The series of runway shows were directed by Pranav Hamal and featured brands including Barbies, Sage, Turquoise, Niketan, Ashfaq Ahmed, Sadan Pande, and Harshita as well as students of the LPU School of Fashion Design.

Celebrity personality and Mr World 2016 winner Rohit Khandelwal walked the runway along with Ms India United Continent 2018 Gayatri Bhardwaj, Ms India Earth 2018 Nishi Bhardwaj, Ms India Multinational 2018 Simran Sharma, and Mr India World 2018 Vishnu Raj Menon among other pageant winners. The presence of celebrities at the event was intended to inspire LPU’s students for their future design careers. 

LPU students presented an array of traditional, fusion, and western wear on the runway. Day wear and evening wear featured in equal measure and students designed for the current spring/ summer season. The event, which launched last year, saw its second season attract a crowd of industry professionals as well as many of LPU’s 40,000-strong student base.
