Archies to enter beauty and personal care segment through brand partnerships

Archies, a company specialising in gift items and greetings cards, plans to enter the beauty and personal care segment and has partnered with around 45 brands for its new segment ‘Archies Beauty’.

Archies has partnered with brands in segments including cosmetics, skincare, haircare, fragrances and scents, baby care, and bath and body care for its new venture, the Press Trust of India reported. The business will sell products from its partner brands through its online and brick-and-mortar retail channels.
“By the quarter-end, Archies Beauty will be having around 75 beauty and cosmetic brands on board and by the year-end end, eying to have around 150 plus brands,” Archies Beauty CEO, Hanisha Kapoor, told the Press Trust of India.
The business will launch a dedicated Archies Beauty e-commerce store as a stand-alone website. Beauty and personal care products will also be available in its network if over 200 stores in India. The business is considering the possibility of opening physical stores dedicated to Archies Beauty by next year, according to Kapoor.
Brands with which Archies has partnered for the initial launch of Archies Beauty include Donna Chang, Beardo, Mamaearth, Note Cosmetics, Zerone, Boyz, Global Desi, UXR, and Titan Skinn, among others. The business has ambitious plans for the launch and expects sales worth around Rs 1 crore ($150,000) to Rs 1.5 crore per month.
