Archana Kochhar showcases glittering occasion wear at Pune Times Fashion Week

Designer Archana Kochhar presented an array of glittering traditional wear on the runway at Pune Times Fashion Week. The show began with influencer Shreya Pujari opening the show in a golden lehenga. 

‘Mauryan’ by Archana Kochhar harked back to Indian royalty of old while adding modern touches. Evening wear featured traditional embroidered details and looks were designed to appeal to the modern Indian woman, according to the brand’s press release. 
“Shreya felt like the perfect person to walk for this show,” said Kochhar about her choice of showstopper in a press release. “Since this collection is an ode to ancient India and its age-old embroidery melding in with new-age silhouettes, Shreya to me was just the right person for it.” 
 
The show was attended by celebrity guests including Aashna Bhagwati, Jainal Mehta, Hina Khan, and Tulsi Kumar. The show was part of Pune Times Fashion Week which took place at The Westin in Pune over the weekend. 

“I walked the ramp for the first time and I was thrilled that I got to do it for the best in the industry, Archana Kochhar,” said Pujari. “Her collection ‘Mauryan’ was really grand and elegant. The show was like no other. The gold collection made me feel like royalty and I couldn’t have asked for more.”
