Archana Kochhar closes Mysore Fashion Week with Harmanpreet Kaur as Showstopper

Indian women's cricketer Harmanpreet Kaur started her new innings in grand style walking the ramp as showstopper for Archana Kochhar at the grand finale of the Mysore Fashion Week 2017 in association with Crocs.
 

The vice captain of the Indian women’s team wore a blue lehenga for her runway debut.
 
Kaur in a statement shared her experience and said, "I was very nervous because it's my first and I wanted to try something new and different as well. I’m happy the way it went and Archana’s collection was just amazing.”

The evening also saw designers Roshan, Reshma Kunhi, Vijaya Lakshmi and Shravan Kummar showcase their collections.
 
A special show was also organized by Crocs India where the footwear firm showcased its variety of groups with individuals from different walks of life walking the ramp.
 
Bhawna Tewari, Marketing Manager at Crocs India said, "Bridal, tuxedos, formals and crocs, a perfect match! It was an industry first and a crocs first, it was bold and it was beautiful, we had the boy next door to a transgender model to an underground rebel walk for us, this for me was the brand's Come As You Are moment."
