Apparel brand Saundh opens its first store in Delhi

Sahiba Ltd-owned apparel label for women ‘Saundh’ has strengthened its retail presence with the opening of its first store in the national capital New Delhi.
 

The store is located at South Extension Market and will house designer-wear clothing that includes kurtis, gowns, kaftans, lehengas, tops, and Indo-fusion sets.
 
The brand is banking on its affordable pricing for sales, which ranges between Rs 3,500 ($50) to Rs 15,000.

Commenting on the launch, Sarabjeet Saluja, CEO at Saundh in a statement said: “Saundh, as a brand, stems from our love for textiles and our vision to create a global label, inspired by India. With Saundh, we are trying to create a separate niche where the gap between designer clothing aesthetics and affordability minimises.”

Saundh is owned by the Gujarat-based textile and garments major Sahiba Ltd. After capturing a large share of the garments and textiles market in India, Sahiba is now looking to make deeper inroads in the country’s fashion market, with its designer fashion label Saundh.
 
“We launched the first store in Mumbai last month, Delhi is our second opening and we have received an overwhelming response from patrons and customers. We are confident that with our garment manufacturing legacy, well-curated collections and incredible price range, we will soon become a leading Indian apparel brand,” Saluja added.
