The brand is turning to popular Indian comic characters for its collections to tap the millennials who have grown up reading and watching them.

With the collaboration, Anushka plans to bring back the '90s era through fashion and expects the new collection to replicate the success of its 'Suppandi' line. Last year, the brand had launched its collection with comic character Suppandi, which the brand claims was sold out within a few weeks of its launch.

Commenting on the new collection, Sharma in a statement said: “I want to bring back the cult nostalgia of the ’90s and present it in the most pop-culture way through fashion. Before there [were computers], there was our Indian detective Chacha Chaudhary whose brain was sharper than a needle and faster than a computer.”

"I want this collection to relive his genius. After Suppandi, I am very happy to welcome Chacha Chaudhary into the Nush family,” Sharma added.

Anushka Sharma launched her fashion label Nush in collaboration with Suditi industries in 2017. The brand is available at Shoppers Stop, Myntra and various shop-in-shop outlets across India.
