Antar Agni opens first-ever flagship store in Delhi

Designer Ujjawal Dubey’s brand Antar Agni has opened its first ever flagship store in Delhi’s Ladoo Sarai. The space is constructed from eco-friendly materials and houses the brand’s menswear line.

Antar Agni’s first flagship store has launched with the brand’s latest selection of kurtas, waistcoats, and bandhgalas for the festive season, the brand announced in a press release. The space features a selection of garments from the brand’s ‘timeless’ collection, as well as a number of limited-edition pieces. 
 
“We are super excited about this launch,” said Dubey in a press release. “Flowing with the current has always been boring for us, and as a brand, we’re constantly looking for new challenges. These difficult times and the continuity of time was our inspiration and reminder to keep our morale and energy high by bringing this physical space for Antar Agni to reality”. 

Ujjawal Dubey launched Antar Agni in 2014 and the brand has become known for its use of drapes and fluid textiles. Dubey used the element of ‘flow’ found in his designs to create a flagship store with no sharp lines or corners. Resembling a modern take on a traditional dwelling, the earthy space is designed to create a calm atmosphere which rejects the, “typically hectic retail experience,” according to the brand. 
 
The store uses eco-friendly cement Agrocrete, which is made from agricultural waste, to cover the walls instead of more conventional choices such as paint. Fluid mirrors and furniture are sparsely placed to give a minimalist feel.
