Annette Görtz opens first store in Antwerp

German designer Annette Görtz takes her womenswear label to Belgium for the first time with a new store in Antwerp. Further growth in the country should follow. 

The new store is located at the heart of Antwerp at Eiermarkt street, next to an Issey Miyake boutique. The historical ambiance of the location fuses with modern architecture.

The store layout echoes Görtz’s strong brand identity. The designer is planning to attract Belgian customers with the contrasting elements in her collection, such as her wool, leather and silk coats.

"Antwerp has always captivated me. It is an exciting place where the past meets the future and give rise to cultural diversity. The city also stands out for its contradictions, while simultaneously creating a sense of harmony and zest for life," said Görtz at the opening.

The Anette Görtz label, which was launched in 1990, produces two womenswear collections per year and is present in countries such as Germany, Russia and Ukraine.
