Fashion technology and commerce platform Zilingo’s co-founder and former CEO Ankiti Bose has resigned from all of her directorships at the business’ holding company Zilingo Pte Ltd and its subsidiaries, she announced.

Bose cited “opacity of information” regarding her positions within the business as the reason for her resignation from her directorships, ET Tech reported. Bose confirmed that she continues to be a large shareholder in the fashion business.

“Over the past few months, despite many requests, the Zilingo board has failed to show me any report (issued by Kroll or Deloitte) which pertained to any investigation into the company or into my alleged misconduct, and why or how these were used to terminate my position as CEO,” wrote Bose on her Instagram account.

Since her suspension, Bose claimed to have experienced harassment and Zilingo appointed Deloitte to investigate the matter in May. Bose urged the business’ shareholders on Instagram to “look past our differences” for the benefit of customers and employees.

Ankiti Bose and Dhruv Kapoor launched Zilingo in 2015 and the business is headquartered in Singapore. The business operates globally and pivoted from mainly business-to-customer to mainly business-to-business in 2018. Bose has been accused of failing to disclose certain payments and being involved in misrepresenting certain financial results, which she  denies.
