Anjul Bhandari’s new handbag line is designed to complement her delicately feminine traditional wear, the designer announced on Facebook. The bags feature hand-embroidered Chikankari and Mukaish details and a number of designs feature pearl and crystal bead handles, while others feature straps with beaded fringing. For a modern touch, the traditional style bags also feature a gold ‘Anjul Bhandari’ logo.

Bhandari also recently launched her new bridal and occasion wear collection for the spring wedding season featuring heavily embellished sarees, lehengas, and shawls in her signature pastel colour palette. The brand retails its couture, ready-to-wear, and small collection of menswear from its dedicated e-commerce store, as well as in luxury multi-brand stores including Aashni + Co, Ogaan, Ensemble, and Aza Fashions.

Anjul Bhandari launched her eponymous brand in 2021 in New Delhi. Specialising in traditional embroidery techniques from Awadh, the brand currently works with over 1,500 craftspeople, according to its website. Bhandari also creates custom Ek Taar sarees, which take close to two years to manufacture.
