Anju Modi collaborates with Biba for festive collection

Costume designer Anju Modi has collaborated with ethnic wear brand Biba to launch an exclusive collection ahead of the festive season. The collection was launched at the South City Mall in Kolkata.
 

With this new collection, Biba is looking to tap the premium ethnic wear segment while Anju Modi hopes to widen its customer base across the country through Biba’s retail network.
 
Commenting on the association, Modi in a statement said, “Working with Biba has been great as this association has allowed me to showcase my designs across the massive retail network of brand Biba. Biba enjoys a great geographical spread and this partnership allows many more people to experience my designs and I am really excited and looking forward to a fruitful and a meaningful association going forward.”

Siddharth Bindra, managing director at Biba added, “It’s an honor to partner with Anju Modi and come up with an occasion wear collection for our customers this festive season. It is our endeavor to make this designer range available to a larger audience through our network and look forward to a great response from our patrons.”
 
The collection has been priced at Rs 6,000 ($84) onwards and will be available at select Biba stores in India.
