Anita Dongre to feature in The Creative Indians

Fashion designer Anita Dongre will feature in “The Creative Indians”, a 10-episode TV series that began airing on Epic on October 3. Dongre will discuss her creative process in the documentary.

The new TC series on Epic, “The Creative Indians”, aims to introduce and showcase the most prolific of India’s creative minds. One episode will be dedicated to Anita Dongre who gives viewers a rare look into her creative process.

"Creativity is about constantly reinventing and innovating yourself and your creations and it was a pleasure to share my story through a show like Creative Indians,” said Dongre in a statement. “I hope we continue to make more shows like this and inspire Indians to work towards a better tomorrow." Other Indian creatives that feature in the series include A.R. Rahman, Anurag Kashyap, Adhuna, and Avan Contractor.

Anita Dongre launched her eponymous brand in 1995, previously named And Designs India Ltd. Dongre now has a portfolio of brands comprising And, a women’s western wear brand; Global Desi, an ethnic wear-inspired brand for women; Anita Dongre, a couture and bridal wear brand; Grassroot, a sustainable handloom brand; and Pinkcity, a menswear and jewellery brand.
