The American actress is to embody Guerlain's next fragrance, Mon Guerlain, the renowned perfumer has announced.

 

 According to the brand, Angelina Jolie embodies a fiercely contemporary femininity which immediately attracted the eye of Thierry Wasser, the director of perfume creation at Guerlain. For her part, Jolie indicated that she fondly recalls from her childhood the scent of Guerlain powder worn by her mother.

Guerlain announced that Jolie is donating the entirety of her earnings from the campaign to charity, in line with her work as a Special Envoy for the UNHCR. Appointed to the position in 2012, Jolie has carried out over 50 missions for refugee advocacy.

The donation amount and the specific charity organisations were not disclosed.
