Ancestry expands retail presence, opens its first store in Chennai

Future Style Lab’s fashion brand, Ancestry has expanded its retail presence by entering a new city with the opening of its first store in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
 

The new store is located at VR Mall in Anna Nagar and will house a variety of dresses, kurtas, blouses, accessories home furnishings, and other lifestyle products from the brand.
 
Ancestry had entered India’s retail market with the opening of its first store in the national capital region at Gurgaon last year in May. Since then, the brand has expanded into other metros like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and now Chennai to take its store count to six in the country.

The brand further plans to expand its presence and enter new cities like Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and others in the coming months.
 
Future Style Lab was launched by Future Group in 2016 and its design studio is based in London, UK. The business also runs the clothing brand, Cover Story.
