Anavila launches e-commerce store
Traditional and fusion wear clothing brand Anavila has expanded its brand reach by launching a dedicated e-commerce store. The site launched with its latest collection for spring/ summer 2019 along with occasion wear and casual staples.
The site, according to the brand’s press release, caters to its customers in New Zealand, the Middle East, Singapore, the USA, and the UK. As India’s online fashion market continues to grow, Anavila Misra’s sustainable clothing brand has began its omni-channel journey.
"It was the constant enquiries on our social media and requests from our clients that led us to initiate the platform,” said the brand in its press release. “We felt there were women around the world who like our work and were trying to reach us. It is important for us to ease this process and provide with a convenient shopping experience."
The brand adds its new e-commerce store to its flagship in Mumbai and studio in Gurugram as well as the network of multi-brand boutiques that carry its collections in metros including New Delhi, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad.
Anavila was launched by Anavila Misra in 2011. Last year, Misra was made a board member of the National Institute of Fashion Technology as well as a member of the Confederation of Indian Luxury’s core group on luxury. The brand is known for its disruption of the saree market when Misra developed a linen saree as a modern take on the classic and the brand works closely with artisanal clusters in India to produce its garments.
