Anarock Retail to launch Aero Mall in Pune this October

Retail real estate business Anarock Retail plans to open Aero Mall in Pune this October and describes it as India’s first shopping mall-cum-co-working facility, set to mix fashion and lifestyle brands with offices.
The mall is being developed by Pebbles Infra-Tech and is scheduled to open its doors to the public mid-October, Indian Retailer reported. The mall is located adjacent to Pune Airport and the development measures a total area of over 445,000 square feet, which includes 130,000 square feet of leasable space for retail.
Brands already confirmed to open stores in the mall include besuty and wellness brands Sugar and Forest Essentials and lifestyle retailers Spykar and Zudio among others. Discussions are ongoing with brands including Decathlon, according to Anarock Retail.
“The entire third floor, measuring 65,000 square feet, of the facility is dedicated to co-working/ office spaces which will cater to approximately 2,000 working professionals at a time,” said Anarock Retail’s director Mayank Sharan, Indian Retailer reported. “AeroMall is being developed under the PPP model with AAI, with development being carried out by Pebbles Infra-Tech Pvt Ltd. Given the shopper profile, the retail spaces are ideally suited for tenants such as high-end electronics, apparel, and F&B outlets, and we are tenanting them accordingly.”
