Ashdeen set up shop at Anahita in Hyderabad last week for a three-day pop-up named “The Parsee Gara” to cater to shoppers for the winter festive season in the city. Each saree in Ashdeen’s festive collection took between 40 and 60 days to embroider and mixes Parsee culture with the Indian saree tradition, Anahita wrote on Facebook. The Parsee Gara showcase also included kurtas, jackets, lehengas, and accessories.

Ashdeen’s collection has a mixed colour palette with soft hues such as mint green and jewel tones such as deep blue and royal purple. Floral and decorative motifs are embroidered across the satin and chiffon textiles which are paired with simple lace blouses.

Ashdeen launched as a women’s traditional wear brand in October 2012. This season, the brand has also held pop-up shops in Amethyst in Chennai and Vasutra in Mumbai for its festive collection.

Anahita launched as a multi-brand luxury Indian fashion boutique in 2011. The store’s designer selection includes Anushree Reddy, Doodlage, Jayanti Reddy, Mishru, Lovebirds, Garo, Payal Singhal, Malasa, Confluence, Kavita Bhartia, and Peachoo among others.
