Ammarzo plans to harness the online customer base it has accrued thus far and step into the offline retail market, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. The brand was founded by entrepreneur and actor Chahatt Khanna with the aim of empowering women both through its clothing designs and its predominately female workforce, something Khanna plans to continue to expand.

The business held its angel funding round and garnered investment from Safexpay founder Ravi Gupta. With a goal of expanding across numerous territories internationally, Ammarzo plans to begin in the UAE which has a large Indian diaspora and a booming retail market.

The brand also operates its charitable branch the Ammarzo Foundation. Through this entity, Ammarzo donates 10% of its profits to a range of charities in sectors including child and animal welfare.

Ammarzo is positioned in the mid section of the market in terms of its pricing. The brand describes its production methods as sustainable and has continued to increase its focus on sustainability since its launch in 2018.

As well as retailing from its dedicated e-commerce store, Ammarzo also has a retail presence on multi-brand e-commerce platforms including Myntra, Flipkart, Amazon, Mirraw, and Snapdeal among others.
