Amit Aggarwal to launch menswear collection on day 1 of LFW Winter/Festive 2018

Designer Amit Aggarwal will launch an exclusive menswear collection at the upcoming Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2018, which begins on August 22 in the city of Mumbai.

The designer has collaborated with luxury car brand Nexa for the collection and used new age materials coupled with craftsmanship to give the collection a unique look. The designer will showcase his collection on August 24 .
 
The collection has drawn inspiration from kinetic movements and energies with the designer merging textiles with vintage Phulkari embroidery technique to create an Indian look.

"I'm so excited to be launching my menswear line at Lakme Fashion Week this season. The show is in association with NEXA and there is such a great synergy between us and the brand's philosophy to create and inspire. We're adding a very new interesting element to our garments this season and I'm looking forward to the show," Aggarwal said in a statement.
 
The five-day fashion event is jointly organized by Lakme and IMG Reliance Pvt Ltd will have stalwarts from the industry along with new talent showcasing at the event.
 
Monisha Jaising will be closing the Winter/Festive 2018 edition of Lakme Fashion Week as the grand finale designer with her collection titled ‘Shades of a Diva’ inspired by Lakme's beauty theme for the season.
