Amethyst launches shopping event for Shades of India in Chennai
Multi-brand luxury Indian womenswear boutique Amethyst has launched a shopping event for ethnic wear brand Shades of India to bring its selection of clothing and textiles to Chennai.
From August 20 to 30, Amethyst is hosting Shades of India for its Annual Sale shopping fair, the boutique announced in a press release on Monday. The pop-up shop features a range of kurtas, sarees, dupattas, blouses, and trousers, as well as accessories in Shades of India’s signature cotton textiles.
Shades of India’s latest womenswear collection has a relaxed aesthetic with loose fit garments and breezy textiles. Featuring tactile appliqué details, the collection plays with texture to add a whimsical touch to its more paired down looks.
The collection is priced starting at Rs 600 ($8) for accessories and Rs 1,400 for garments. A selection of home textile goods including cushions and textile runners among other items is also available.
Founded in 1992, Shades of India is run by Mandeep Nagi and David Housego and has an international presence. The brand is present in a number of international multi-brand boutiques including Harrods and the Conran Shop in the UK, ABC and Gumps in the U.S., Le Bon Marche in Paris, and Lane Crawford in Hong Kong.
