Amazon to host 'Smbhav Summit 2022' on May 18

E-commerce major Amazon India will host the third edition of ‘Amazon Smbhav’ on May 18 and 19 this year.
 

The two-day virtual mega summit will provide small and medium businesses in India a deeper insight into various aspects of the e-commerce sector through various training sessions.
 
The summit will see participation by policy makers, sellers, vendors, service providers, logistics solution providers, technology solution companies, start-ups, among many others.

Commenting on the event, Manish Tiwary, country manager for consumer business at Amazon India in a statement said, “We remain deeply committed to innovate for small business, especially to digitally enable small local stores and kirana shops. We are excited about bringing together a host of policy makers, well-known corporate leaders, successful modern entrepreneurs, young emerging business owners and Amazon leaders at Amazon Smbhav 2022 to discuss and debate on ideas that will enable India’s growth to a $1 trillion digital economy.”
 
During the 2021 Smbhav event, Amazon India had announced a $250 million (Rs 1,873 crore) fund to help start-ups, entrepreneurs with digitization process and technological innovations.
