As part of Amazon’s India offline expansion plan, it is in talks with three Indian retailers: Future Group, More, and Shoppers Stop, ET Bureau reported. The U.S. business plans to develop an omni-channel shopping experience for its Indian customers.

Amazon already retails two of its private label clothing brands, Just F and Prowl, in some of Shoppers Stop’s brick-and-mortar stores. The business aims to scale this up and introduce more brands.

Amazon also plans to launch its private label brand Amazon Basics across More, Shoppers Stop, and Future Group stores. The line includes lifestyle goods such as backpacks, homewares, electronics, and umbrellas among other items.

Starting with private label goods, Amazon plans to gradually also start selling other popular products from its online platform in the offline stores, three sources told ET Bureau.

Amazon also recently launched its payments interface Amazon Pay at More and Shoppers Stop outlets, and plans to launch it at Future Retail’s Big Bazaar and EasyDay stores in the near future.
