Alcis Sports opens second exclusive store in India, appoints Shikhar Dhawan as brand ambassador

Sportswear brand Alcis Sports as part of its ongoing expansion plan has opened its second exclusive brand store in the country at Phoenix Marketcity in Kurla, Mumbai.
 

Alcis Sports is looking to ramp up its operations and expected to add 14 more exclusive stores across all the major cities of India before the end of the year. To enhance its brand visibility the company has also signed Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan as the brand ambassador.
 
The Mumbai store is spread over 1000 square feet and will house the brand’s latest range of sportswear. Alcis will also showcase the official fanwear merchandise of 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia for which it owns exclusive license for the Indian market.

Commenting on the store launch Roshan Baid, Managing Director, Alcis Sports in a statement said, “The city of Mumbai is a natural fit for a brand like Alcis Sports, as we plan to ramp up our presence and visibility. Since our inception, our products have received tremendous response and we are all geared up to take our brand to the next level".

"We already have one of the widest ranges when it comes to athleisure brands, and apart from exclusive stores we are also readying up newer categories to cater to more consumers", he added.
 
Alcis Sports is a fast growing sportswear brand in Indian with presence in over 150 shop in shops in a range of multi-brand retail outlets. The brand opened its first exclusive brand outlet in the city of Kochi in December 2017.
