Akshay Kumar's Force IX opens first store in Bengaluru

Bollywood celebrity Akshay Kumar’s clothing brand Force IX has opened its first brick-and-mortar store in Bengaluru and its second in India to date. The store retails the brand’s full selection of menswear, womenswear, and accessories and is located in the metro’s Phoenix Marketcity mall.

“Namaskara Bengaluru, with a lot of excitement we’ve taken our second step, a step closer to you,” the brand announced on Facebook, sharing that Bengaluru is the location for its new store. “Force IX is now open in your city.”
 
The store has a modern, fitness and army inspired design, to mirror the brand’s main inspirations. Force IX’s signature star logo is displayed throughout the store along with army style banners. 

“Force IX, Akshay Kumar’s clothing brand, opened its first store in organised retail with Phoenix Marketcity,” said Phoenix Mills Limited's general manager, India Retailing reported. The store opened with Force IX’s summer collection which mixes basics such as logo t-shirts and jeans with more military-inspired pieces including boiler suits. 
 
The new store follows on from Force IX’s first ever store launch in Mumbai in April this year. The store measures 1,800 square feet and the flagship store launched with a military themed carnival. Force IX plans to have opened nine exclusive brand outlets by the end of the year and plans to reach a total of over 200 stores in the coming few years.
