The Ludhiana store located at MBD Neopolis mall is spread across an area of 200 sq ft while the Jalandhar store with an area 400 sq ft is located on the ground floor of MBD Neopolis Mall.

Ajmal sees Punjab as an important market for growth and plans to further strengthen its presence by adding more stores in this region over the next few months.

Commenting on the expansion, Saurav Bhattacharya, president of Ajmal & Sons (parent firm of Ajmal perfumers) in a statement said, “With the growing popularity of Ajmal Perfumes in India, we are extending our fragrance partnership to bring the brand within arm’s length. The Ajmal experience matters to consumers, and it is only possible when we penetrate deeper into India’s different geographical markets. In this journey, we feel that trying to do it all alone will have limited coverage.”

“Punjab, for us, has been a leading market as it has a vast appreciation and patronage for our products and is culturally very suited to the local diaspora. Hence, we are privileged to announce the commencement of our franchise stores in Ludhiana and Jalandhar, respectively. This is just the beginning, and much more is to come,” he added.

Ajmal Perfumes has over 240 exclusive retail outlets across the world and has a retail presence in over 30 duty free locations in international airports. The brand had over 3,000 points-of-sale in India through a mix of online and brick-and-mortar retail formats.
