Ajio presents ‘Bold New Life’ at LFW day one

On February 12, multi-brand retailer and clothing label Ajio showcased its summer/resort collection, ‘Bold New World’, on the runway at Lakmé Fashion Week in Mumbai, featuring bright prints and sporty separates.

 
The online clothing retailer brought a dose of wearable fashion to the Lakmé Fashion Week runway on Wednesday, with a multi-brand western wear showcase, Lakmé Fashion Week reported on Facebook. The collection included garments available on Ajio’s e-commerce site and was designed to promote the growing fashion platform.
 
Menswear was bold and bright, alongside sportswear inspired with utilitarian accessories, sports shoes, and a relaxed aesthetic. Notable items included a dark red tracksuit and monochrome cross-body bag. Sporty pieces also featured among the womenswear with hoodies, bomber jackets, backpacks, and neon accents.

Evening wear and office wear for women also featured with a more subtle, refined aesthetic. Lace blouses, tailored trousers, and black dresses with diamanté straps presented an array of formal yet paired down options. With the slogan “Long Live Bold”, Ajio presented a progressive, millennial aesthetic. 
 
Lakmé Fashion Week launched on February 12 and runs until February 16 at JioWorld Garden in Mumbai. The fashion week is celebrating its 20th anniversary this season.
