Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to walk for Manish Malhotra in Qatar

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will walk for Manish Malhotra on October 5 in his first ever runway show in Doha, Qatar, as part of India Fashion Weekend International (IFWI).

The Bollywood celebrity and muse to Manish Malhotra, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, will finally walk the runway for the designer after inspiring many of his collections. Malhotra will showcase his latest collection in Doha, Qatar, to kick off the first ever edition of IFWI which will be held at the Hotel Mondrian starting on October 5.

IFWI will be a weekend-long getaway style event that will showcase Indian fashion and beauty trends to Qatar’s shoppers. The event will also include tourism promotions, luxury wellness experiences, and gourmet food.

“I am thrilled to showcase my first fashion show in Doha, a fascinating city,” Malhotra told Vogue India. “My collection is festive, fun and vibrant, keeping in mind the upcoming season… Our showstopper is my muse and dear friend, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, a timeless icon of beauty and effortless style. We are pleased to share this special moment with her.”

Malhotra recently worked with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and designed her wardrobe for her latest film 'Fanney Khan' where she plays a pop superstar.

Malhotra recently showed his winter/ festive collection 'Zween' in Mumbai.
