Single will retail men’s casual wear including jeans, t-shirts, shirts, and footwear. Prices will start at Rs 1,500 ($21.68) placing the brand in the mid-section of the market. The brand will begin by launching across over 50 Shoppers Stop and Central stores, as well as on Myntra’s e-commerce site.

“We are servicing the needs of young Gen Z,” USPL’s CEO Anjana Reddy, said in a statement about the new brand, as reported by ET Bureau.

“There are no brands who are servicing this generation and we see a massive opportunity here. The way consumer driven market is operated, there is enough room for more brands.”

Reddy also said that the brand’s target customers are men aged between 22 and 28 years old who are, as the brand name would suggest, "single."

USPL has launched a number of clothing brands with celebrities including Wrogn with cricketer Virat Kohli, women’s ethnic wear brand Imara with Bollywood celebrity Jacqueline Fernandez, and western wear brand Ms. Taken with Kriti Sanon.

The business has also expanded its sponsorship deal with the Royal Challengers Bangalore cricket team and now advertises on the back of the team's helmets.
